All Because of a Craving
Cowboy Jack's Boiled Peanuts is a family owned & operated business based in Port St. Lucie, FL. After attending a few art & crafts shows in late 2006, early 2007, and not finding anyone selling boiled peanuts to munch on, we figured there had to be others out there that were having the same craving. We started out very small setting up a table, burner & pot at a local green market. Within just a few short months, we were doing events in the tri-county area 3-4 times a month and the "table" turned into a trailer, enabling us to provide more product to our customers.
Our peanuts taste fresh, because they're made fresh. We use Virginia Jumbo's giving you more peanut to satisfy the cravings. We can almost guarantee that once you've tried our peanuts, you'll keep coming back for more. After having MANY repeat customers, our peanuts were voted, "The Best In Town".
The Best In Town!
What makes them "The Best in Town"? We've had our share of bad "gas station" peanuts and knew that we needed to create something unique. After much experimenting, we finally developed the recipe that has people in our area coming back time and time again. Most people don't want to advertise, or claim, that their product is the best for fear of not being able to live up to the expectations. But with over 1000 pounds of peanuts being sold (part time) this past year, there have been MANY comments made that these were the best boiled peanuts around.
What makes our boiled peanuts unique? Typically you find 2 types of boiled peanuts, "Regular" or "Cajun". Cowboy Jack's is a blend of both, sort of a "Medium". If you like Regular, you'll like 'em. If you like Cajun, you'll like 'em. They're not too salty, not too spicey. As a little old lady from Georgia once told me, "They're just right!" If you're adament on not being able to have anything spicey, we'll usually have some "regular" set aside.
Having a Party?
You can typically find Cowboy Jack's Boiled Peanuts at one of the many "special events" taking place along the Florida Treasure Coast area. We are also available for private parties & social gatherings. Contact us for your next event!
